Running Head: Fluorine

FLOURINE, THE LOST CHILD

My name is Jessica Deng. My story is of the element fluorine. (1) Fluorine has an atomic number

of 9 and a mass number of 18.9984, which I made its years. Below is a story of fluorine, an 18-

year-old boy that is a big concern to the community but has gone missing. People including the

police are in search of him, he might be dangerous, but he must be found, because he could hurt

people badly.

“Come in”.

“Hello, it’s been long since I saw you”

“I’m good Kelly, how have you been?”

“Great, was just listening to the radio and a child, got lost and is nowhere to be found”.

“So sad, imagine how the parents are feeling right now”

“They say his name is (1) Fluorine”

“Did you just say Flourine?”

“Yes, that’s his name”

“That is one of the most dangerous kids ever, to walk planet earth. (1 ) He is an 18-year-old,

almost 19 years old, boy who is capable of even killing someone, when put in a room together”

“Why, do you know him”

“Yes, I have heard so many things about him, I have also seen his doings. People need to find

that kid and bring him home as soon as possible”

“Why are you so scared of what a small child can do?”

“come on, he might be a child, but he’s the evilest child to walk planet earth. His father’s name is
(2)
fluorite and he is just as evil”

“One year ago, he perused this girl, carbon, and she ended up pregnant”

“What’s the problem with a girl being pregnant?”

“(2) Carbon gave birth to fluorocarbon, the most feared child, after his father in the entire

world. That kid Can’t see outside because of its effect to the environment and air the

smell it produces. Every time it releases gas, it has some serious environmental

consequences. Scientists have believed where they can destroy the ozone layer, thus

reducing the protection it offers the earth from the sun's harmful UV rays. People still

believe that the child is not normal, Christians have proposed for him to be taken to

church for prayer and the scientists want him in the lab for an experiment to verify him as

a real human being”

“This family sounds really messed up. Where is (1) carbon, fluorine’s girlfriend”

“Yes, it is. Her parents were forced to take her away, because any more contact with

fluorine would bring more harm to the entire community at large”

“They didn’t also have a good relationship with carbo, their bond was weak and was easily

broken when parents and other people started interfering in their lives”

“What do we do now that he is gone?”

“We find him. He can’t just disappear”

“or we let him go”

“No way, you have no idea who you are talking about. I have heard that fluorine has a bad

temper. Like it blows up every time it gets in contact with people like (3) lithium, sodium, and

potassium from the alkali city”

“(3) It also becomes more vigorous when it gets in touch with people from the alkaline

earth city like calcium and magnesium”

“You know what? I have heard enough from you, lets turn on the radio and hear what they say”.

“Oh my God, we really need to find this kid”

“The last time he was seen was at the sulfur production company, this means bad news”

“Why? What will happen?”

“(3) Fluorine is allergic to sulfur Every time it smells it, it reacts in a vigorous manner that’s not

pleasing, especially when they are in a room and the body temperature of fluorine is very low”

“That sounds bad. I hope the police are also in search of him, in a good way just to bring him

home so he doesn’t hurt anyone”

“Yeah, me too. But this is serious. That kid needs to be found or we are all in danger”

“Why did he decide to just go missing anyway?”

“I heard recently that he was furious about people always isolating him, which is true for

so many reasons”. “So, he got furious and just decided to leave”

“(4) Why do people isolate him?”

“Because of how he reacted with other people, not just the people, but with water too”

Running Head: Fluorine

“(4) Every time it touched water it would start scrubbing itself like and skin would turn a different

color because of the corrosion. This made him a very weird human being because, water is

always a pat of our lives and for someone to be allergic to it, it felt like something wasn’t right”

“This boy has been through a lot no wonder it has so many bad sides, its not just because

of his nature, but people didn’t get him, and it mad him feel like he wasn’t apart of our

community”

“Where do you think he might have gone to?”

“Where people who don’t feel like they are apart of a group or community go to?”

“Where might that be?”

“(2) The halogen city”

“Where is that, and who even leaves there?”

“(1) Fluorine’s cousins, chlorine, bromine, and iodine”

“Shouldn’t we tell the police about this halogen place? Since it is one of the places, we might

find Fluorine?”

“We should, let me call them right now and notify them of where Fluorine might be

found”

“They are on their way there. I hope they do really find and save him from whatever madness he

is involved in”

“I really hope everything will be fine”

“I’m hoping too”

“ “What do you think is going to happen to him when he’s found?”

“Well, he has been famous over the past couple of days for his badness and it’s not just the

police and ordinary people that want him, the scientists think he would be a very useful resource

in their labs. So, I think there’s more for him”

“He’s a lucky guy. See you later then. Bye”
