Topic 4

1.1 The first chapter tells how Molly Moon with her best friend Rocky and their dog Petulka ended up in
America. She had to sort out the criminal affairs of the billionaire Primo Cell at the request of her friend.
Cell is a hypnotist, he wanted to become the president of the country. Then Molly Moon, the dog and
her friend went to Los Angeles. They secretly got to the Oscars, but the consequences are unpredictable.
Because of her dangerous adventures, Molly realized that she knew how to stop time. When I read 15
chapters, I assumed that the main character would give up her ability to stop time. But then, after
reading 25 chapters, I realized that the girl would use this skill. Molly assisted the police and her friends
with the investigation. In addition, she helped herself, because Molly learned the secret of her birth.

1.2 1. The problem of relations with Mrs. Gadkins and the girl in the orphanage.

2. The struggle between good and evil Molly decided to hypnotize the billionaire who deceived the
outburst of people and wanted to become the president of the country.

3. Meeting with an Indian maharaja, he is a strong hypnotist who wanted to master the world.

I want to talk about the third situation. My predictions: Molly Moon defeats the enemy and goes to the
next city with a friend to travel and help people. In fact, the girl faced an adversary who deceived her.
He said that he is an Indian Maharaja, but he is not. He is called the most powerful hypnotist in the
world. The hypnotist can travel through time using multi-colored magic crystals. His dream is to be
immortal and take over the whole world. Molly wanted to take this opportunity from him and he
decided to steal the girl. He also kidnapped her friends while traveling in time to research them in the
laboratory. But Molly Moon saves her friends and returns to Los Angeles.

1.3 The orphanage where Molly Moon lived: «Happiness House was the orphanage where Molly and
Rocky lived. Until recently the children`s home had been called Hardwick House, and as that name might
suggest , it had been called Hardwick House, and that name might suggest, it had been an extremely
difficult place to live in.»

Description of Primo Cell: «Molly stared, fascinated, at more pictures of the suave, tanned tycoon. He
had a large face and a wide nose, a chiselled chin and a broad mouth. All his features were fairly
unremarkable except for his eyes. One was turquoise, the other brown, and together the duo were
stunningly magnetic and completely alluring. Molly just wanted to gaze at them. Here he was on a safari,
holding a lion cub, and here a thousand feet up in the basket of a hot-air balloon. There were film clips
of him coming out of restaurants, and at parties with the celebrities that had been on the screen earlier.
Suky Champagne, Hercules Stone, Gloria Helheart, Stephanie Goulash and Cosmo Ace. 'Primo Cell is a
hypnotist, I'm sure of it,' said Lucy. am also a hypnotist, and a very skilful one. My understanding of the
art made me begin to suspect him some time ago.»

Description of aircraft landing and airport: « After eleven hours, the jumbo wheeled above the bright
lights of Los Angeles. Molly stared out at the enormous city below. It seemed to stretch for hundreds of
miles in all directions. She couldn't help wondering where Primo Cell was right now, among those
millions of buildings. Then the tyres hit the tarmac and they were safely down. Everyone put their
watches back eight hours. It was seven o'clock in the evening.Soon they were all standing in the baggage
hall, half asleep, waiting for their suitcases. The only people with any energy left were Gerry and
Gemma, who were giving rides on the baggage carousel to Gerry's toy superheroes. Molly watched a
small red case trundling round on the conveyor belt. Exhausted as she was, she let her eyes linger on it,
absorbing its rough-textured surface and the colour of its tarnished buckles. For a moment the airport
seemed very far away and it was as if she and the suitcase were the only things that existed under the
terminal roof.»

Topic 5

2.1 -Molly Moon is a ten year old orphan girl with green eyes. She lived in the terrible Hardwicke
orphanage. When Molly visited the library in Breserville, she read a book on hypnosis. Since then, the
girl has been addicted to hypnosis and practiced with Mrs. Gadkins's teacher at the orphanage. Molly
Moon is very fond of traveling, she is kind and ready to help people. Molly Moon was always kind, even
when the children from the orphanage laughed at her.

- Mrs. Gadkins is a wicked teacher. Mrs. Gadkins has red ,wavy and short hair, green eyes and strict
look. She has a dog which she loves very much and this dog constantly interfered with Molly. Gadkins
never defended the girl when she was bullied at the orphanage.

- Rocky is Molly Moon's best friend. Rocky is a ten-year-old boy, he is dark-skinned with curly dark hair.

- Primo Cell is a billionaire and hypnotist who has conquered the minds of the brightest Hollywood stars
and wants to become the president of the United States, and then the whole world.

2.3 Molly Moon ended up in Los Angeles. At the Oscar ceremony, she noticed the crime and bravely
decided to save the event. Molly ran into the small room where the Prime Klez table was and looked
him straight in the eye. Molly hypnotized the criminal and the ceremony with the famous stars was
successful.

Topic 6

3.1 Dear Molly Moon,

I am writing to you to tell you what a strong personality you are. How did you cope with resentment
towards your peers in the orphanage? You never hurt them in return, and that deserves respect. How is
your best friend Rocky and your dog Petulka ? Recently I realized that you are very fond of travel and
hypnosis. I was surprised how you defeated your opponent, Primo Cell. If not for you, he would have
taken over the world. Primo is a very evil character, he hypnotized the stars of Hollywood and at the
Oscars hypnotized the star so that he did not get an award. But you fixed everything and in the end it
ended well. Say hello to Petulka and your friend.

Cliff –обрыв.

3.3 Molly Moon has always sought justice in the world, she fought criminals and protected friends. She
never had her own home and parents because she was thrown under the shelter in a marshmallow box.
Molly was always cheerful, but adventures and friends could not replace her family. When Molly gained
the ability to hyponize and stop time, she found her new family. Mom and dad loved her very much,
thanks to her abilities, the girl found happiness.
