Who I Am

My name is Rizka Amelia Dwi Safira. I am a college student in Sepuluh Nopember Institute of
Technology (ITS) Surabaya. I take Geomatics Engineering as my study major for three and a half
year until four years straight. I am the last child in my family and I have super sweet family to
warm me up in every situation.
Talking about my personality, I am a friendly person and easy smiling person to everyone, no
matter if they’re someone new or they’ve become my friends since long time ago. I care to
everyone, I always want to take part when someone gets problems, even it’s only a little part. I just
want to give my hand to make someone’s problem easier. People around me say that I’m so funny
and cheerful because I think I am easy laughing too, I appreciate what someone does or what
someone talks.
I am a hard worker person. I always try to make everything so perfect and I also appreciate what
someone has done to help my things so that everything becomes so excellent in many ways.

What I Am Going To Be
Like other kids, I wanted to be a doctor, especially peaditrician. My aunty said that pediatrician
earns lots of money and gives better life. But then I grew up. I realize that biology and medical
weren’t my passion. I mostly interested on math, physics, chemistry, and practical job in
laboratory, such a challenging major. Then I learned that deciding future isn’t about how much
money you can earn, but it’s about your passion and ability to make a precious future based on
your skill so that you can be a useful person for your environment. Yap! I want to be an engineer.
Starting from that, I always dream about the way I can wear yellow hard hat for my daily activity
in the future, work with a team and do a super big project, draw and construct road and building,
which provides place and facilities for everyone.
Also, if I can do two different major at the same time, I really want to be a volunteer. Sharing my
knowledge is the best thing I can do, I’m gonna give excellent atmosphere, some brand new things
to everyone who can’t take education because of some factors, like economic and limited facilities
in their region. Then, in this modern era, technology is the most important thing to face the
emphasis of this world. I’m gonna be a volunteer who also teaches technology to everyone who
doesn’t know at all. Like I said, being a useful person’s gonna make someone’s life better.
