Rajasthan’s Chief Electoral violated rules by publishing the

state’s electoral rolls in editable format on the website, the
election commission has told the Supreme Court.

Delhi:Rajasthan’s Chief Electoral violated rules by publishing the state’s electoral rolls in
editable format on the website, the election commission has told the Supreme Court. CEO
Ashwani Bhagat was consequently replaced by Anand Kumar, it said.

Responding to a Congress petition on a range of electoral issues filed on August 23, the EC in its
affidavit added that the CEO was transferred for the serious lapse on September 3. The violation,
