Ship´s Masters must be aware that minimum required speed for entering
Barranquilla Ship´s Channel under high River Flow Rate season (volume
over 9750 Cubic Meters per Second) is 12 Knots (OGS) Over Ground Speed.

Maximum Arrival draught to be arranged with Pilot´s Office according to last


available Official Depth Surveys and volume of River Flow Rate

Particularly Vessels with 180 Mts. LOA and over calling Barranquilla Port
must arrange individually in advance arrival draught and trim conditions,
time for entering and transiting ship´s channel according with River Flow
Rate and last Official Depth Surveys available

Also vessels must at all times be trimmed by stern a minimum of 0, 61


Meters (2 Feet) for transiting Barranquilla Ship´s Channel (in and out)
