District San Juan de Lurigancho

LIMA-PERU
I live in San Juan de Lurigancho, it is the most populous district in Peru. It is
located northeast of the city and with more than one million inhabitants.
San Juan de Lurigancho, It is characterized by the cultural ethnic diversity (large
groups of populations from various departments of the country).
There are many interesting sights in San Juan de Lurigancho and tourists never
get bored with visiting them. For example, there is the famous Mirador del Cerro
San Cristobal, where you can look at the city of Lima and where is a small
museum. There is The Huaca Mangomarca , it is a place too ancient , there are
remains of their culture. The Lomas is a place with very vegetation that exists in
winter and spring, the lanspcape is very fantastic, this place is very good for
walking with friends.
Also in San Juan de Lurigancho there is also a variety of typical Peru foods, for
example the Picarones, Causa Rellena, Ceviche, Pollo a la Brasa, etc. There
are many places to have fun, discos, parties, anniversaries, polladas,
circuses.etc.
The bad thing about SJL is the traffic, so it is not very travel in car,a good option
is to walk or ride a bike.
San Juan de Lurigancho is a fascinating city and I really like it. Typical dishes
are very popular among Latin American tourists. Cerro San Cristobal is too
fantastic in April for Easter, people come up to ask for their wishes.
I recommend visiting it, they won't forget it.
