Dear members, Assalam-o-Alaikum.

Following are the GRE preparation guides. Please click on the book/material you want to
download. In all the pdf files, you will also find a button to download them if the links open
in your browser.

Highly Recommended (serial number shows the preference number)

1. PowerPrep II (take one test before preparation, one test after preparation)
2. Magoosh GRE Flashcards (do as many you can in parallel to verbal practice)
3. The Official Guide to revised GRE
4. Official GRE Verbal Reasoning Practice Questions
5. Official GRE Quantitative Reasoning Practice Questions
6. Official GRE AW Essay Pool (topic names only – view them and brainstorm)

After Magoosh, best way to memorize words is by reading Reader’s Digest, New York
Times, etc. and by intelligently using Quizlet.

Recommended (serial number shows the preference number)

1. Manhattan 5lb Book of GRE Problems

2. Analytical Writing Samples (Please read samples from the books posted on this
document) (someone’s samples)
3. Magoosh GRE Premium (Unfortunately, it’s not free, you may ask a friend who
already has Magoosh Premium or you may take the premium if you can afford. If you
cannot afford, leave it and do not worry. Your GRE preparation is already done if you
have completed the above material.)
4. Free Online GRE Tests (Kaplan, Manhattan, Misc. see these tests too)

By now, you may appear in test after practicing the analytical section and taking at least two
PowerPrep tests. GRE and TOEFL Mock tests are available at USEFP offices (click here for
detail).

Other stuff (Up to you if you want to do – however, not recommended because the question
types of this material is not exactly what comes in GRE, so it may a little detract you)

1. Barron’s New GRE

2. Kaplan New GRE Premier
3. Princeton Review – Cracking the New GRE
4. Gruber’s Complete GRE Guide

The complete GRE database

(It also contains other materials too. See if any of them works for you)

If any link does not work, send a message on the group, comment on this file, or send the
private message if you do not get response.

Best of luck for your GRE! It’s not a hard nut. Do not overwhelm yourself with the practice
material; you do not have to do all of this material. Do what suits you. Stay motivated. Please
remember in prayers.
