Family trip to the Fresno Art Museum last summer standing in front of one of Hung Liu’s
pieces.
I had previously taken this class in the Spring of 2017 and I loved it. Unfortunately, I
was going through a custody battle and didn’t get the grade I wanted so I am retaking it for a
better grade. First taking the class gave me reason to take my family to a museum, neither
myself or my girls had ever been to one. I can honestly say that we had a great family day.
Since then we have gone to a few different galleries/museums. When it came time to take this
class again my kids were very excited to come with me and find another piece of art to do a
report on. After three different galleries I couldn’t find anything I really enjoys as much as I
did the art by Hung Liu, so I decided to do my report on her again. This time however I did it
on a different piece of art. There is just something about her work that draws you in and
captivates you, I would love to meet her one day. My now wife fell in love with her as well. I
