FAVORITES TO WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE 2019/2020?

Premier League title this season but there is a concern over whether the Champions League

winners can perform as brilliantly on a consistent basis. Also a lack of transfer activity during the

summer may also be a problem pairing with the fact that key players Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and

Roberto Firmino have all had extended breaks due to international tournaments in the summer,

they could take a while to find their flow.

Dele Alli picking up injuries also while Heung-min Son was unavailable at two different times due

to international commitments, but they still ended at the Champions League final and finishing

improvement for them in the 2019/20 Premier League campaign. They look short at full-back now

after Kieran Trippier's departure that is now the case. Keeping Christian Eriksen and Toby

Alderweireld is a huge boost for spurs. Pochettino has got the best out of this squad, pressuring

City and Liverpool and reaching the champions league final during the 2018/2019 season.

This is Frank Lampard’s first season in charge at Chelsea, with Eden Hazard leaving the club after

seven years and a transfer ban means the Blues only have one new face in Christian Pulisic. Tammy

Abraham has spent the last three seasons on loan in the Championship, scoring 25 goals on loan

the most outside of the top two, however their lack of defensive signings still poses a concern aftet

hey kept just eight clean sheets and conceded 51 goals but if the complete the signing of Kieran

Tierney from celtic this would be a boost to their defence.

Wolves and Everton who finished seventh and eighth respectively last term are also contenders for

the title especially wolves who surprisingly finished eight last season coming out of relegation,
