Interpersonal Communication Model

Description

Interpersonal communication is the process by which people exchange

information,feelings and meaning through verbal and non-verbal messages : it is
face to face communication.Interpersonal communication is not just about what is
actually said the language used but, how it is said and the non-verbal messages
sent through tone of voice, facial expressions, gestures and body language.

When two or more people are in the same place and are aware of each
other’s presence,then communication is taking place, no matter how subtle and
unintentional. Without speech, an observer may be using cues of posture,facial
expressions and dress to form an impression of the other’s role,emotional state,
personality and intentions. Although no communication may be intended,people
receive messages through such forms of non- verbal behavior.

*Interpersonal communication is a key life skill and can be used to give

and collect information, influence the attitudes and behavior of others and
express personal needs and understand the needs of others.

Reaction

I think this communication model is easily to understand why, because this

type of model is we used in our day-to-day life. Like most of us are engaged in
some form of interpersonal communication on a regular basis,often many times a
day,how well communicate with others is a sign that we have a good
Interpersonal skills.

In addition,through this model we can make our relationship firm with others.We
can also give or receive any emotional support. With this model it is not only
verbal communication but it is also engaged non-verbal such as facial
expressions,tone of voice,gestures and body language that can use to convey
information.

Through this, we can make ourselves connected to each other.Like what they
say communication is the key in camaraderie. All in all this type of
communication model help us to understand that communication between two
people is important.
