Differences Between UMP and Poltekkes Semarang

I will tell you about the different between University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto
and Poltekkes. Poltekkes is a public university thet was bunder the auspices of the ministry of
health in central Java.
while University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto is a private college that based on islamic and
auspices of Muhammadiyah.
Muhamadiya Purwokerto university (UMP), is one of the State Universities in Indonesia
located in Purwokerto, Banyumas, Central Java. UMP is a form transfer from IKIP
Muhammadiyah Purwokerto which was established on April 5, 1965, is a branch of IKIP
Muhammadiyah Surakarta, having its address at dr. Figures Purwokerto. Initially consisted of
two faculties namely Faculty of Education (FIP) and Public Education. In 1968 IKIP
Muhammadiyah Surakarta Branch of Purwokerto broke away and turned into IKIP
Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.
University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto develops international cooperation with 45 leading
universities in research and human resources that is why University Muhammadiyah
Purwokerto is widely referred to as a worldwide campus while Poltekkes develop cooperation
with other Poltekkes - Poltekkes located in Indonesia.
In the cost of education in the poltekkes cheaper than university muhammadiyah
Purwokerto, although different the rregistration and a wave of entry in the same poltekkes
financing different with university muhammadiyah purwokerto more expensive and also
every registration and a wave of entry is different it coast.

33 prodi, while Poltekkes there is only 1 faculty consisting of 8 study program.
In terms of facilities University Muhammadiyah Purwokerto has a broader auditorium more
complete and adequate while the auditorium in Poltekkes less adequate and complete lurang.
in Poltekkes there are prodi located not only in Purwokerto (baturaden and mersi) but the
polytechnic spread in Semarang, especially the main campus or campus 1, there are in
Magelang, Pekalongan and Blora, while the unversity muhammadiyah purwokerto is in
Purwokerto (duku waluh) and sokaraja.
in polytechnic is allowed for women not to wear veil while in university muhamadiyah
purwokerto required or required to wear veil for woman or woman and in poltekkes all
student of all study program wear uniformed clothes from poltekkes while at muhammadiyah
university only few prodi wearing uniform.
in poltekes students if they go or go to college day habits are using motorcycle, but in other
universities muhammadiyah purwokerto besides using motorcycle but many also use car to
go and go home college.
in poltekes there is a mosque that is big but does not cover all the students there are campus
whereas muhammadiyah university purwokerto big mosque so it can to cover all student.
