    Windows 7 updates causing problems


    Problem
    We received multiple reports of users with Windows 7 where Mastercam 2017 or 2018 displays an error on startup and then
    crashes when Mastercam is closed. The error message begins:

    Cause
    Windows 7 updates and the latest .NET Framework 4.7.1 release.

    Solution
    To uninstall the Windows update, open Control Panel. Under Programs – Programs and Features, go to View installed updates.
    If KB4055532 is not on the system, try uninstalling the latest .NET Framework 4.7.1 install.
