REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

The above-captioned case was referred to this Philippine Mediation Center (PMC) Unit on
October 16, 2012. Correspondingly, pursuant to A.M. No. 01-10-5-PHILJA-SC, the thirty (30) day
period allowed for the settlement of the case will expire on November 16, 2012.

However, the parties have signified their willingness to extend the said period, there being a
good possibility that an amicable settlement will be reached.

Thus, it is respectfully requested that the parties be granted a final extension of thirty (30) days
from the above-mentioned deadline or until December 12, 2012, to give the parties additional time
within which to reach an amicable settlement.
