SKIT ON CYBER BULLYING

Narrator: During the class break, student 1 saw Cindy in the canteen. (student 2 with annoyed face)

Student 1: Hey, Cindy! What’s with that face?

Cindy: That dork, nerd looking smart classmate of ours is really annoying! She embarrassed me in our Math Class
this morning. When I wasn’t able to solve the problem on the board so she immediately volunteered to help and
answered the problem so easily that I was reprimanded by our Teacher. And my crush was there in the room. I
felt so ashamed and I was so really pissed off with her all-knowing manner.

Student 1: Are you speaking about Jasryl? Come on, just leave her alone. She’s just a boring smart fella. Don’t let
her ruin your day. And she’s not at fault. She’s just doing her job as a smart student.

Cindy: No way! I will let her pay for the embarrassment she did to me. She’s a great show off!! She will pay for
this!!

(Approaching their place is student 3)

Student 3: Hey, Cindy! I guess I just arrived timely. It seems something is bothering you and you just need my
expertise, (giggles)..

Cindy: It’s good you came. I need you to do something to that nerd who just ruined my day.

(whispers to student 3 about her plan of revenge)

Narrator: The following day….

In the school, a viral photo of Jasryl has been circulating . When Jasryl entered the school, ..

(students are whispering away from her, laughing at her while holding their phones)

Jasryl approached her bestfriend.

Jasryl: Hey, Jen! What’s the matter? Why is everyone looking at me sharply? What happened? Do I have some
dirt on my face? Is there something wrong with my clothes?

Jen: Have you not check your FB yet? Check it now!

Jasryl opened her FB and was shocked by what she saw.

Jasryl: Who posted this in facebook? They edited my profile picture to make it look like I’m really overweight and
wearing a bikini. I think they photo shopped it; they took my face and out on somebody else’s body. I never had
a picture with a bikini on. Oh my God! This is so embarrassing! ( wants to cry) Now, there are several
negative comments about this picture. I don’t want to attend my classes anymore. I feel so humiliated!

Jen: But who would do this to you?

Jasryl: I don’t know! I never hurt anyone. I just wanna go home now.

Jen: Come on, Jas. We need to do something about this. Let’s report this to our teacher.

Narrator: So Jasryl and Jen reported this matter to their adviser. Their adviser investigated the matter and found
out that Cindy was the person behind this. So she called Cindy, her accomplices and their parents to resolve the
matter. They were suspended for one day for what they did. Cindy removed the post and promised not to do
cyber bullying again to anybody, and of course, she asked forgiveness from Jasryl.
