Lesson Plan for Teaching Demonstration in English Literature

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

a) recall the major characters of the play written by Shakespeare ; “A Midsummer


night’s dream”
b) unlock new vocabularies
c) express views and opinions about the major theme of the play and;
d) create and show a storyboard that captures the concept of a Five Act Structure by
making a six cell storyboard.

it again through making the PLOT.

But first let’s review the parts of it. What are (Students raising their hands)

d. Application:

Now for our next activity, let’s create and


show a storyboard that captures the concept
of a Five Act Structure by making a six cell
storyboard, like the one below.
For each cell, you have to create a scene that
follows the acts in order: Prologue, Conflict,
Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and
Denouement.

Let’s divide the class into 3. Group 1 will do


the prologue and climax then group 2 will do
conflict and falling action and group 3 will do
rising action and denouement.

I’ll show you the scene that you are going to


act but during the presentation, you will
have to use your own script. Did you
understand? (Teacher will show the five act
diagram)

I’ll give you 5 minutes to talk about your (Students’ will brainstorm about their act s then
task. presents in front of the class.)
