About candidiasis
Caused by candida albicans appears as

white creamy lesion
Predisposing factors
- Bad oral hygiene
- Medically compromised

- Immunosuppressive
- Medication e.g. cortico steroids
- Vitamin deficiency and improper denture
Types
- Acute sudo membranous
- Hyperplastic chronic atrophic candidiasis
(due to denture)

- Acute erythematous (due to antibiotic)
- Mucocutaneous candidiasis (seen in
immunodeficiency)
- Candida leukoplakia
