    I learned about Windows (7, XP, Vista, Millennium, 2000, NT, 98), DOS (Disc Operating
    System), Linux, UNIX. Q2. What is the function of operating system? Operating system controls
    the hardware and software of a computer.
    What is word processor? We can type, edit, and print documents like letters, faxes, memos etc.
    using a word processor program. Some different work processing exist are: Microsoft Word,
    Word Perfect, Open Office.org, Writer, Word, etc. Microsoft Word is the most popular program.
    What is a spreadsheet? It is like a large sheet of paper with a lot of columns and rows and
    Spreadsheets are used for keeping records in small companies.
    The internet and email: The Internet is a global network of computer networks. Email, browse
    the internet, transfer files, play games, live conversations, play music and videos.
