WHAT
IS
PASSION?
PASSION IS SIMPLE. LET
ME EXPLAIN IT TO YOU.
I define passion as anything that brings a sense
of energy into your life.

IF IT ENERGIZES YOU,
FOLLOW IT.
Toss out the idea that passion is related to things
that you like or enjoy. Instead, focus on what
energizes and depletes you. It's simple: if
something energizes you, lean into it and add
more of it into your life. If it depletes you, try to
cut it out or move away from it.

PASSION = ENERGY.
You can discover exactly what you're passionate
about by asking yourself one simple question:

"When do I feel energized?"

PASSION DEPENDS ON
YOUR DAILY ENERGY
LEVELS.
In order to figure out what energizes and what
depletes you, you need to tune in to what your
body is telling you. It's much easier to tune in
when you're feeling alive and energized–and
ready to tune into the energy around you.

IMPROVING YOUR ENERGY

LEVELS INVOLVES TAKING
ACTION.
To improve your energy levels in order to feel
more passion in life, you must take action. You
will never improve your life solely by taking in
information. Instead, you must take what you
learn and then act on it.
5 HABITS THAT HELP YOU LIVE WITH

PASSION
PRACTICE SELF-LOVE

Right now, commit to becoming your own best friend. No matter

who else is in your life, you're truly the only person who will be
with YOU along every step of the journey that is life.

If someone else spoke to you the way that you speak to yourself,
would you be friends with that person? If the answer is no, you
need to start practicing self-love and being compassionate
towards yourself.

EMBRACE YOUR UNIQUENESS

There is only one you and there will never be another.

Understand that you are a unique individual with a set of
skills and experiences that only you will ever have. All of
your past experiences and everything you have ever
learned becomes your own special brand of inner wisdom.
When you learn to tune into that inner wisdom, you can
really follow your energy and your passions.

SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO

UPLIFT YOU
Spend as much time as possible with people who truly uplift and
inspire you to be the best person that you can be. If you don't have
any of these people in your own life, then spend time reading
biographies and watching videos and taking courses with the people
who do uplift you. Cut out, as much as you can, the people who bring
you down.

HONOR YOUR INSTINCTS WITH

ACTION
When you have an idea for a way that you can improve
your life, take action on it immediately. Within 5 seconds,
you must act, or your brain will kill the instinct. Your brain
wants to keep you safe. You need to use the 5 Second
Rule to take action within 5 seconds.

KEEP YOUR WORD

This means keeping your word with others and with
yourself. If you tell someone that you will do something,
then do it. This proves that they can count on you. When
you promise YOURSELF that you will do something, 5-4-3-
2-1 and DO IT. When you take action, you also prove to
yourself that you can count on YOU.

Six Things to Start Doing
That Will Help You Get in Touch With
What You Really Want

If you follow these tips, I guarantee that

your life will change for the better.

Less Time on Your Phone

Most of us are completely addicted to our electronics. When

we're sucked into the online world, we aren't living in reality.
Social media feeds comparisons, unhappiness, and gives us
unrealistic expectations for what life should be like.

Express Gratitude

Gratitude is so incredibly important. Every single day, make

the choice that you will express gratitude. Within the first 30
minutes of waking up, write down 3 things you are grateful
for.  Do this again at night, just before bed. 3 things that you
are grateful for that happened that day. Do this every single
day.

Give

Give generously–especially your time. Giving makes us

happier than receiving. So, go volunteer. Call up that aunt
who you never talk to but enjoy the company of. Do
something nice for the people in your life. Feed the meter for
the guy parked next to you.

Get 8+ Hours of Sleep

When you're not sleeping well, you're simply not living up to

your fullest potential. The easiest way to get more sleep is to
set an alarm for 1 hour before your desired bedtime. When
the alarm goes off, immediately stop whatever you are doing,
turn off all screens, and start getting ready for bed.

Cut Out Junk Food + Sugar

We're wired to crave unhealthy food–but such food doesn't

provide the nutrients that we need to live our best lives. If you
want to feel happy and energized, you MUST eat well. Focus
on adding as many fruits and vegetables as you can each day.

Complete Daily Acts of Courage

Courage is a muscle. You build your courage muscle through

daily acts of everyday courage. When you speak up in a
meeting, get to the gym, walk away from that cookie, and say
what you're really thinking, you build your courage muscle.
