This subject is more powerful to me because ,at this time it is of important to us to know how

to use computer ,also computer at this generation are very common. Computer also gives us a
knowledge and understanding and advisable for us to use computer give us to easy communicate and
easy to perform like in the numerical and non- numerical computation.

Computer according to history the first inventors are the people because man is the way to
do things and they have capability to make a machine like the French mathematician named Blaise
Pascal he invented the Pascaline and the other one inventors is John Napier the Scotsman they invented
the logarithms. The most important of computer are the parts of computer, because we can’t use
computer if we did not know the parts. Before we start to use computer the very important must we
know the parts of personal computer like the monitor, keyboard ,mouse, and speaker .The first we
must know the power switch ,reset switch, activity light ,and the Hoppy Disk Drive .If we know the parts
of personal computer we can use it any time we want. Personal computer have a Ports(Back Panel)a
typical personal computer, the rear of the case contains a number of hole and slot called ports, into
which we plug computer devices.

I learned that computer also had two system parts, the HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE ,now I
know the comparison of hardware and software ,HARDWARE refers to physical units, while SOFTWARE
set of instruction that makes the hardware work get desire result. Hardware comes into two basic
varieties the external hardware which is known as peripherals refers to hardware that connect to the
outside of the computer case ,example this the monitor keyboard ,mouse ,printer and the microphone
etc,,,and the next one also the internal hardware ,reside inside the computer example this are the CPU
,motherboard ,memory, etc,,,Hardware they have categories the input devices, process unit, output and
storage devices .And the software also is a set of programs which they have two types

Committe in 1940, President Franklin d. Roosevelt appointed director of the Office of Scientific Research
and Development in 1941.

PAUL BARAN (1926-2011)developed the field of redundant distributed networks while conducting
research at RAND Corporation starting in 1959 when Baran began investigating the development of
survivable communication networks.

JOSEPH CARL ROBNETT LICKLIDER (1915-1990)was a faculty member of Massachussetts Institute of

Technology ,and researcher at Bolt , Beranik and Newman. He developed the idea of a universal
network at the Information Processing Techniques Office( IPTO)of the United States Department of
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA)

DONALD DAVIES (1924-2000)independently invented and named the concept of packet switching in
1965 at the United kingdom’s National Physical Laboratory (NPL)
