John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success
In a period of 14 years, ending wit
his tenure at Indiana State University,
John Wooden worked on his famous
“Pyramid of Success.” He put suc-
cess, according to his defnition, at
the apex.
“The first two blocks of the
pyramid are the two comer:
‘stones because to be strong,
you have to have a strong
foundation’ said Wooden
“The cornerstones of
success to me, in any-
thing, are hard work
and enjoy what
you're doing. So,
