The musical alphabet...
Letters of the alphabet...
● The musical alphabet is just like the normal alphabet…
● ...except for two important things!!!
● It ONLY contains seven letters (A through G)
● It can go on forever in either direction!

On the staff...
● The CLEF tells us what letters go where.
● With the TREBLE CLEF, the “loop” always goes around the line for “G”
● ...and if we know where “G” is, we know where the rest of the letters go.
