 1.HOUSE OF HOPE

Report on the event dated:12/02/2017

Address: kothasukarapalem village, kothavalasa, vizianagaram district.

Description:

We, 71 students of our class (ECE-4) united and organized an event in

HOINA orphanage.We collected an amount of 14,000/- among ourselves.We
made them enjoy in various cultural activities like singing and dancing.We
interacted with the tender hearts and had experienced their jubilant delight. We
conducted various games for the children and given some prizes.We fulfilled
some of their necessities like Towels and Exam kits. We had also given
Educational guidance.

Our whole class participated in this event. We went to the orphanage and
spent some quality time with them. We arranged some fun games among
the children and distributed some snacks for them. We enjoyed a lot in this
orphanage because we made those children laugh.Children played with
utmost interest and our class coordination made this event successful.

We need to lend a hand to poor people. We should feel fortunate to be born as

a normal one because there are other people who doesn’t even have single meal
a day. Parents play an important role in their children’s lives. So, orphans should
be given more importance and love. Children are so sensitive and need affection
in their life.
Description:

In orphanage, we taught moral values and time table for their daily homeworks.
Children felt so happy when they saw us . They became energetic and active
during our session. They are so lovable and obedient. I personally felt that rather
than celebrating our birthday at our homes, we can spend that time in orphanage
because this makes our heart rejevunated . So, from this event we realized that
children are so sensitive and need extra care . We, as students should make
some time and spend with those children.

At AnandaMarga Ashram we taught about the good habits,created the

awareness about the future and told them what is right? And what is wrong? We
also taught the regular syllabus of the students of class 4th and 5th. They also felt
happy with our work.

 3.SWACHH BHARAT

Cleanliness and hygiene is very important to lead a health life. A

revolutionary concept started by president Mr. NARENDRA MODI, Swachhbharat,
has created a major impact in and around the society. Taking that as an inspiration
we have participated SWACHH BHARAT event in Kommadi, Raithu Bazaar and
Bakkanapalem junction. For that we have conducted a survey in the village and have
observed the unhygienic conditions prevailing. So we voluntarily have took up the
task of cleaning the village.
 Without any hesitation, we took a task of cleaning the village with gloves
and picking all the debris. Along with that we interacted with the households and
advised them to keep their premises clean to avoid diseases and mosquito
propagation. We cleaned the waste surrounded in the premises of the area.

 4. Traffic Awareness

As we have seen in recent times, there have been a lot of accidents because of
careless driving and over-speeding, we have come up with an idea to create
traffic awareness , so that we could create little impact in the society.

Description:

We have noticed that traffic awareness was an important element and is to be

created among the society of our nation. So we have worked on planning,
creating and executing this event . We have thought of displaying placards with
road safety quotes.
Some of the quotes were :
“DONATE BLOOD BUT NOT ON ROADS”

“BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY”

“DRINKING AND DRIVING KILLS”etc…

 5. COMPUTER TRAINING

Discription:

Importance of computer tells us the value of education in our life. computer

means a lot in everyone’s life as it facilitates our learning, knowledge and skill.
It completely changes our mind and personality and helps us to attain the
positive attitudes. We must give importance to the computer than other targets
in life as it is the only source of real happiness in our life. As the part of the
event conducted by Hearts of Humanity(HOH) we as a group went to
government high school, Madhurawada. we taught children various things like
computer awarenesss, importance of computer. We explained the children the
importance of computer and how we can reach our goals by studying hard. We
also told how education can change our future.
 6.CONCLUSION

The basic concerns of social welfare—poverty, disability and disease, the

dependent young and elderly—are as old as society itself. The laws of
survival once severely limited the means by which these concerns could be
addressed; to share another’s burden meant to weaken one’s own standing
in the fierce struggle of daily existence. As societies developed, however,
with their patterns of dependence between members, there arose more
systematic responses to the factors that rendered individuals, and thus
society at large, vulnerable. It is clear that the processes of economic and
social change create new prospects and new hazards for every generation.
This requires constant adjustment on the part of the social service .It is
important to ha ve social values in order to make a better society. Education
is important in every aspect but moral values and discipline gives more
ethical values. From this social service, I learned a lot like discipline, ethics,
keeping our surroundings clean, following the rules given by higher officials,
helping or lending a hand to the poor people. This should lead to further
variation in social welfare services as societies become more sensitive to
their indigenous cultural diversity and develop their own responses to
change
