LASSO TOOL= The lasso is an editing tool available, with minor variations, in

most digital image editing software.

It is often accessed from the standard main menu, by clicking the icon of a dotted
line shaped like a rope lasso,
from which the common name arises.

BRUSH TOOL= The Brush tool is a basic painting tool. It works like a traditional
drawing tool by applying the color using strokes.

CLONE STAMP TOOL= selects and samples an area of your picture and then uses
these pixels to paint over any marks.
The Clone Stamp tool acts like a brush so you can change the size, allowing
cloning from just one pixel wide to hundreds.

ERASER TOOL= can be found in the second group of icons in the toolbox. It has
three variations:
Eraser, Background Eraser and Magic Eraser.
The eraser is basically a brush which erases pixels as you drag it across the
image.
Pixels are erased to transparency, or the background colour if the layer is
locked.

BLUR TOOL= The Blur Tool is used to paint a blur effect.

Each stroke made using the Blur Tool will lower the contrast between affected
pixels, making them appear blurred.
The context-sensitive Options Bar, usually located at the top of your workspace,
will display all relevant options related to the Blur Tool.

BURN TOOL= Burn tool lighten or darken areas of the image.

These tools are based on a traditional darkroom technique for regulating exposure
on specific areas of a print.
Photographers hold back light to lighten an area on the print (dodging) or increase
the exposure to darken areas on a print (burning).

TEXTT TOOL= The text tool is one of the most powerful tools in your toolbox
because it opens the door to a multitude of pre-designed font libraries.
These font libraries allow you to create graphical versions of letters using pre-
designed formats.

SHAPE TOOL= The shape tools allow you to add graphic shapes in the form of a
filled layer with a vector mask, a solid fill, or as a path outline.
You can have the default unconstrained option which allows you to define a
rectangle shape using any size or proportions that you like.

GRADIENT TOOL= The Gradient tool creates a gradual blend between multiple colors.

You can choose from preset gradient fills or create your own.
You cannot use the Gradient tool with bitmap or indexed-color images.
To fill part of the image, select the desired area.
