restaurant (open 6pm - 11pm).

(Saturday 7th) Day 2 - Shinjuku & Shibuya (can walk)
Harajuku area: Meiji shrine, Yoyogi Park, Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street), Togo street,
Shibuya area: Hachiko Statue, Spain Slope (Supeinzaka) and Parco Department store, Shibuya
crossing.

(Sunday 8th) Day 3: Ginza/Ueno Park (access the Yamanote line to Tokyo Station, Akahibara
Station, Ueno Station)
Activate Rail pass at Shinjuku station and try to book all weekend trains at this point.
On Sunday all vehicles are banned from using this road - so you can walk anywhere
Ginza: Zara, Ito ya Stationary shop, shopping day, Imperial palace, Ginza Wako, De Beers
Building, Mitsukoshi
Ueno Park:Akihabara Electronics, Ueno Zoo, Tokyo Skytree, Exterior of the national musuem

Look into the destination bus pass from JTB (should find one at Shinjuku station)
Take the limited express JR train from Shinjuku station to Otsuki station. Transfer from Otsuki
station to Fujikyu station (non JR so we have to pay for this one. Roughly $20 each)
(11th) Check out of Hotel & Take the Yamanote line from Shinjuku station to Tokyo Station.

Osaka:
(11th) Arrival: Get to Hotel, Pokemon Center, Dotonbori [Shopping], HEP FIVE (With a red ferris
wheel on the roof), Umeda Sky building, aquariam, nakanoshima
Osaka
(12th) Himeji Catch the train from Osaka Station to Shin-osaka station.
Then catch the Kodama line from Shin-osaka to Himeji (3rd stop) - Himeji Castle, Kokoen
Himeji:
13th - Check out of Hotel & Make sure to get a Koyasan World Heritage Ticket for travel to
Koyasan from Namba Station. Take the Nankai Train line to Gokurakubashi. Then take the
cable car up the mountain. After that its a ten minute bus ride to Senjuinbashi
Mt Koya:
(14th) Take a bus ride from Senjuinbashi, catch the cable car to Gokurakubashi, then take the
Nankai Koya line to Shin-Imamiya Station then take the JR Osaka Loop line to Osaka Station.
From Osaka station catch a train to Shin-Osaka station. From there catch a train to Kyoto
Station.
Kyoto:
(14th) Check into Hotel, kinkakuji, nishiki market, sanjusangendo Kyoto tower, higashiyama
(15th) Shore-in temple and the Shogunzuka Mound (panoramic views), Fushimi Inari-Taisha (half
day trip)
(16th)By JR Train from Kyoto Station: Take the JR Sagano/San-in Line to Saga-Arashiyama
Station and walk for about 10 minutes.
(17th) Day trip to Nara: JR Nara Line: 45 minutes by express (kaisoku), 70 minutes by local
(futsu), departs from JR Kyoto Station in Kyoto and arrives at JR Nara Station in Nara
From here you need to use the Sakura train on the Sanyo shinkansen line to reach Hiroshima
station
From Hiroshima move to platform 1, Sanyo Line bound for Miyajima-guchi (8th Stop.)
At Miyajima we will have lunch and use the cable car to get up mt Misan. From there it's a 1km
walk to the summit.
Then we will go back down the same route and head back to Miyajimaguchi.
(20th) Check out and take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen from Kyoto Station to Tokyo Station.
Tokyo:
(20th) Catch the Yurikamome line from Shimbashi station to Daiba station on Odaiba Island
