ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL

STREET LIGHT

In Koppal, tube light source is more dominant with 50%

and Sodium vapour light source with 28%.
In Koppal only 107 LED bulbs have been using out of
4755 street light system, to reduce the consumption of
electricity
By replacing the other street lights with LED light bulbs
,large amount of electric consumption can be reduced

In order to replace all other bulbs with LED bulbs

Total cost required is around =42,00,000 Rps
As per URDPFI Guidelines ,For residential buildings
15% of the external lighting load should be met through
renewable energy resources and 5% for the
commercial, institutional and industrial buildings (I.e.,
through solar, wind, biomass, etc.,)
