Introduction
- Light can be available whenever it is required. Outside of daylight
hours. Light can be provided wherever it is required.In areas far
from the building envelope. Light can be provided however it is
required. In any quantity and with any distribution. This can be
tailored to provide a variety of requirements. Task lighting, display
lighting, general ambient lighting.
Methodology
- In this case study, there were several methods used in order to
answer all the questions given by the lecturer. Collect data from
the catalogue, catalogue must be find at local store or online. To
obtain the lighting type, wattage, efficacy, nominal life, colour
temperature, and lighting price. Observed the type of lighting that
used in the building and identify the switching control method for
controlling lighting system. Next is calculates the electric and
lighting to identify the total number of lamp that required and
compare the bills,cost of lighting installation and the sustainability
between CFL and LED.

Question3
Given, recommended illumination level by JKR in a room = 300
lux.
Length = 3.5m
Width = 3.2m
= 300 x 11.2
1 x 2200 x 0.48 x 0.83
= 3.8 lamp
= 4 lamp

The cost between these 2 LED light are not that expensive. But the
recommended LED light are more reliable and the power
consumed are much better than the other.

Discussion
Based on the experiment, we study the impact of LED to financial,
environmental and cultural. We also study about calculation of
electric and lighting required on the building.
