Welcome to Climate Change Project Description

Climate change is a real problem that affects the entire
planet earth. Nowadays, climate change caused by global
warming has become more visible due to rising levels of
greenhouse gases. One of Europe's main objectives is to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase renewable
energy sources (Europe 2020, 2010). All people on planet
earth are responsible for climate change. We must all do
something to prevent this. Sensitizing people about cli-
mate change is one of the most important ways to reduce
their impact. Teachers who are the architects of society
and the students who create the future of society are an
integral part of the center of the solution. To this extent,
they have an important role to play in our project. Having
partners from different geographical locations is crucial to
understanding the climatic and geomorphological effects
of climate change under different conditions. We believe
that this global problem will not be solved unless we ana-
lyze it globally and try to reduce its effects together. The
goal of our project is to provide an inclusive and effective
education focused on increasing students' awareness of
environmental problems.
We will make every effort to explore the concrete signs of
climate change and to involve many people in cooperating
on possible solutions. Various types of impact caused by
climate change in different climate-related countries and
geomorphological formations will be analyzed using scien-
tific methods.
The purpose of our project is to provide an inclusive and
effective education with an embedded focus on increas-
ing student’s awareness about environmental problems.
We strive for exploring concrete trace of climate change
and reaching a lot of people for cooperating about solu-
tions. Various impacts of climate change in different
countries related to climatic and geomorphological for-
mations will be examined with scientific methods in this
project
Project Goals
-increasing the knowledge and competence about climate
change by observing the morphological and hydrograph-
ical changes caused by climate change in different loca-
tions.
-sharing ideas about the changes in different climatic
region by giving information about climate characteristic
classified with precipitation and temperature graphics.
-finding solutions in order to reduce climate changes
-developing practical ideas about renewable energy
sources
-getting students to be aware of savingness

The aim is to increase awareness of climate change, mak-

ing pupils and teachers the opportunity to experience
them in different countries. Active learning will improve
knowledge consolidation. Participants will collaborate
with each other, which will make it easier to understand
the fact that our problems and solutions are common and
that we are the world together.

Aksaray Science and Art Centre is a school founded for
improving gifted students' skills. It is situated in Cappa-
docia region having different geographical formations
and attractions. Our city , Aksaray , has 396.673 inhabit-
ants and it is an important place for observing geo-
