Authentic Listening texts for beginner students

Do you think there are any kind of authentic text which beginner student could cope with? If
so, what kind of listening tasks would be appropriate?

I think we can adapt different materials for beginner students, we can find different types of
listening text but we can adapt them to make them more easier for them, or we can make the
material; for example, I teach kindergarten students and my textbooks have some audios about
different topics, one of the topics is food so they listen to the audio and have pictures to help
them and also the task is to cross out the answer (multiple choice tasks), the book gives them
options using pictures and we can follow the audio by pointing the pictures and pause the audio
to give them time to answer, in this case, we are talking about general food but if we decide to
make an authentic material we can choose Peruvian food to make the audio and the task using
pictures, a book that has these type of authentic materials is Corefo book.
