to practice very hard right from the very start

joined the summer basketball league held in
their barangay during April at the KIDS B Di-
vision. Wherein he performed well and made
some of his teammates and friends proud.

Starting from the 1st quarter they start-
ed to build their lead and they won the game
with a 50 points lead. After the game, they had
their lunch and rested to preserve energy for
the upcoming finals that afternoon. After tak-
ing lunch, Jericho went back to the gymnasi-
um by himself to join his classmates watching
volleyball and at the same time to rest. It was
the finals of the volleyball game where in the
team where Reign was joining was also fight-
ing for the championship. It was a very closed
fight from the 1st 2 sets when suddenly reign
got badly injured. Jericho got very pity on her
so that he helped her go to the clinic.
 Chapter 6
The Finals and Jericho’s Victory
It’s the 15th day of February when Jer-
icho, together with his teammates Matthew,
Troy, and Cyrus headed to the 2nd round and
to the finals. First, they fought against Yellow
team in which they also won the game with
an 8-point lead. After that game, the Yellow
team immediately faced the strongest team
in Grade 9, the Blue team, which has a cou-
ple of shooters, re-bounders, and good ball
handlers. On the First half of the ball game, it
w\was a very closed fight where in the Yellow
team’s biggest lead is just 4 points. But on the
second half, the Blue team from the Grade 9
slowly cutted the lead and they slowly build
up their lead to 30 points. The grade 10 fans
slowly lose their hope to reach the finals when,
one of my teammates Matthew gives them an-

him cheerfully. Wherein they created very mem-

sometimes does not attend some basketball

The Most Awaited Event,

And the 2 week training is over. It is now
finally the day that everybody has been wait-
ing for. The start of the Intra-murals was now
here. And the rivalry of Jericho and Tracer was
scheduled the first basketball game. It is the
start of the first quarter but Jericho was not yet
entering the floor. Troy advised him to enter
the court on 2ndquarterand his assignment is
to defend Tracer. When the 6:00 mark of the
2nd quarter has been reached. Jericho final-
ly enters the court, and at the same time, the
crowd were chanting and cheering for him. As
Jericho heard the crowd, he gains even more
confidence and he becomes more energetic.
As he entered the floor, he immediately did
what Troy has told him to defend Tracer very
well. And Jericho’s tight defense turned into

Jericho: Oh really? Ahmm maybe?
Troy: Relax! Also I heard that you are prepar-
ing very hard for this event.
Jericho: Yes! Hahahahaha!
Troy: By the way let me have time to teach you
on how to defend him properly.
Jericho: Okay! Thank you! By the way what is
our design plan for the jersey?
Troy: We will design it the exact design of the
Toronto Raptors jersey.
Jericho: How much??
Troy: 650.00
Jericho: Ok thank you!
Troy: Our team will gonna pay for our jersey
on Friday(February 1,2019), so prepare your
payment as soon as possible.

Jericho went home very happy and he excit-
edly told his best friend the good news.
Jericho: Hey pal! It’s a success, I will bee join-
ing the intra-murals.
Jhoshmell: Oh!! Really? To whose team?
Jericho: Yes!! Yes!! I am joining Troy’s team.
Jhoshmell: Then we should be training harder
for the next remaining days. I know that Tracer
is very tough so we should give our best espe-
cially your best to win over him and to win for
our home town.
