Lab 4

Objectives

The main purpose of this experiment is to study the amount dissolved oxygen (DO) level in
the lake water sample. Next, the experiment is conducted to identify whether the lake water
sample comply with Malaysian Water Standards. Other than that, the experiment is carried
out in order to observe the changes in colour of the lake water as reagent powder pillow is
added. Besides that, to study Winkler Method which is Azide Modification Methods for the
experiment. Lastly, the aim of performing this experiment is to identify the factors affecting
the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the Lake Water Sample.
