If you play a tune in D open, you can play it in E capoed to the second fret, F capoed to the third fret, G capoed to the fifth fret, A
capoed to the seventh fret, or B capoed to the 9th fret.

If you want to play in A you can capo to the 2nd fret and use G fingerings.

If you want to play in C you can capo to the 5th fret and use G fingerings.

Or, if you want to play a tune in D but capoed higher up, you can use G fingerings and capo to the seventh fret and it will still come
out in D.

Most used capo positions/keys are in BOLD. Less frequently used positions/keys are shaded.
