MARKET ANALYSIS

What to do?

 This is a group assignment. Form a group of minimum 4 and maximum 6 members.


 Chose any product of your choice
 Do research on the product to collect all information related to the product to prepare
product profile. (Features of the product, price of the product, important promotional
measure, Sales data – if possible, important competitors,
 Identify important events that have affected the product directly or indirectly.
(A tentative list of the factor/s that might have affected market of the product that you
may consider - government policy, consumer preference, competition, legal factors,
environmental factors, technological factors, change in company’s policy etc…..)
 On the basis of the collected information try to answer following questions in your
project:
1. Identify the type of market in which the chosen product is competing.
2. Identify important competitors in the market.
3. Effect of the identified events on either demand or supply or both in the market
(With help of conceptual diagram of demand and supply). And what could be the
outcome on the market.
4. Apply any principle/s out of the 10 principles of economics in your analysis (if
applicable)

Presentation

 Presentation of the project can be in the form of a poster or scrapbook or a model. Use your
creativity to make your project content rich and a visual delight.
 The final presentation will be in the form of an exhibition that will be displayed on
16th November 2019.
 All group members have t compulsorily remain present and contribute to the presentation.
