● Participating in this build project improved my ability to identify and solve problems. I see it as great

preparation for the FRC competitions because it teaches students how to overcome obstacles and

teaches the mechanics of robots on a small scale – Cooper

● This build helped apply and further my skills from last year. The build and code were

● Building this robot gave me a deeper insight into how these mechanisms work, and how that

translates into code -Johnathan

What I learned – Cooper
What was the difficult part of the project working? -There was lots of trial and error while working on the
tetrix bot. We thought the code would work, but found that it wasn’t perfect, so we had to rethink it through
many times.

What was the easy part? -It was easy to follow the instructions to build the robot.

What role did you play on the team? -I assisted Johnathan a lot while deciding how to code the robot for
specific tasks, such as the maze, the arm, the sensors, the ps4 controller, etc.

How did your team perform, and what could be improved on working with your team? -Our team
performed well, but we could’ve had better communication between the three of us.
What I learned-Johnathan
What was the most difficult part of the project?

-learning how to understand and write the code to get the robot working

What was the easy part?

-following instructions to build the robot frame

What role did you play on the team?

-I did most of the coding for the robot

How did your team perform, and what could be improved on working with your team?

-we performed well, but our teamwork could be improved upon

What I learned- Andrew
What was the difficult part of the project working?

The coding required lots of testing then adjusting to get it to work correctly

What was the easy part?

The fusion and build were fairly easy to complete

What role did you play on the team?

I built the robot, did the fusion, and helped with the code

How did your team perform, and what could be improved on working with your
team?

We performed very well and were one of the first groups finished
