Teacher
@How does this theory (Multiple Intelligences) differ from traditional definition
of intelligence?
Student 1
@Ma'am according to traditional definition, intelligence is a uniform cognitive
capacity people are born with. This capacity can be easily measured by short-answer
tests. On the other hand, Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence is:
- The ability to create an effective product or offer a service that is valued in a
culture;
-A set of skills that make it possible for a person to solve problems in life;
-The potential for finding or creating solutions for problems, which involves
gathering new knowledge.

Student 2
- In the traditional view of intelligence, the teacher teach a topic or "subject"
while on the Multiple intelligence theory, teachers structure learning activities around
an issue or question and connect subjects. Teachers develop strategies that allow for
students to demonstrate multiple ways of understanding and value their uniqueness.
