Re: Recommendation letter for Ashley Sherrod

I am honored that Ashley Sherrod asked me to write her a letter of recommendation for an
administrative position in your district. Ashley has become an invaluable resource to me, as well
as a trusted colleague and friend. Anything Ashley does will be done and done well and always
with the needs of the students first and foremost. She is easy going and unflappable. Nothing
seems to throw her and she is always smiling. Ashley is possibly the most positive teacher I
have ever worked with. She always finds the good in people and situations that arise. She is
highly motivated and has high expectations for everyone. She is a resourceful, creative, and
solution-oriented person who is able to come up with new and innovative approaches for herself
or anyone who asks for help, student or teacher. She is a hard-working self-starter who
understands exactly what needs to be done, plans accordingly, and gets it done quickly and
effectively. I often marvel at her ability to multitask. Seriously, she gets things done. Nothing
falls through the cracks. Ashley is analytical, organized and detailed. She has demonstrated the
ability to maintain records, supervise others as well as collaborate with others and is a team
player. She makes sure to keep everyone informed and keeps all lines of communication open.
She is approachable and easy to talk with, yet she is able to be firm when needed. I found out
very quickly that If you give Ashley a job you can know it will be done and done well.The
students love her but don’t be the least bit fooled. She is tough in the best possible way.
The kids love her.

Ashley is a team player. She makes sure to keep everyone informed and keeps all lines of
communication open. She is approachable and easy to talk with, yet she is able to be firm when
needed. She shares anything and everything that might be of benefit to the students or the
school in general. Ashley has excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format.
She is bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and is always available to help students and parents.
She gets along well with everyone and is respected as both as a person and a professional.
Ashley would prove to be a tremendous asset working with students, parents, and staff.

Without reservation, I highly recommend Ashley Sherrod for any position for which she applies.
Our loss would most certainly be your gain.
