Dear Colleagues,

We’re pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the thematic dossier of Revista del CESLA. International Latin American Studies Review, no. 26, 2020: Religions in Latin
America: continuities and ruptures coordinated by: Amurabi Oliveira, PhD (Federal University of Santa Catarina, UFSC, Brazil) and Roberto Motta, PhD (Federal University
of Pernambuco, UFPE, Brazil).

We invite scholars doing their research on Religion in Latin America in its various aspects, including religions in different temporalities and geographical locations to
contribute with articles, of theoretical and empirical character, on: Latin American religions, religious transformations on the continent, New Religious Movements, the
phenomena of conversions, rearrangements of the relationship between the local and global levels in the religious sphere, as well as relationships between religion and
politics, religion and gender, etc..

The articles must be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English and submitted, according to the editorial rules, in the Open Journal System (OJS) of Revista del CESLA.

The Editorial Team of Revista del CESLA. International Latin American Studies Review will be in charge of communicating to the authors the results of the evaluations
received and sending them the comments of the external experts.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

Reception of articles proposals: February, 28th 2020

Response and comments of the evaluators: June, 1st 2020.

Delivery of corrected versions of accepted articles (if necessary): July, 31st 2020.

Publication of Volume: Dec., 2020.
