RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE OFFICE OF THE DES MARKETING

INCORPORATED OF RIZAL AVE EXTENSION COR. 6TH STREET BRGY. 12
CATBALOGAN CITY TO DEDUCT FROM THE GROSS INCOME OF THE
EMPLOYEES OF DES MARKETING WHO OBTAIN LOAN FROM METRO ORMOC
COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE AND ISSUE A CASH THRU PAYROLL AS PAYMENT
OF THE SAID LOAN.

WHEREAS, METRO ORMOC COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE has been instrumental in

the upliftment of the standard of living of its members through the grant of loan and its other
offered services;

WHEREAS, some employees of Des Marketing Inc. are also members of METRO ORMOC
COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE;

WHEREAS, under REPUBLIC ACT NO.6938 also known as “An Act To Ordain A
Cooperative Code of the Philippines, particularly section 59 paragraph (1) states that “… A
member of a cooperative may, notwithstanding the provision of existing laws to the contrary,
execute an instrument in favor of the cooperative authorizing his employer to deduct from the
salary or wages payable to him by the employer and pay to the cooperative such amount as may
be specified in satisfaction of any debt or other demand due from the member to the
cooperative…”

WHEREAS, under the same section of the above-mentioned statute, particularly paragraph (3)
”… The term "employer" as used in this article shall include all private firms and the national
and local governments and government-owned or controlled corporations who have under their
employ a member of a cooperative and have agreed to carry out the terms of the instrument
mentioned in paragraphs (1) and (2) of this article…”

WHEREAS, that some employee of Des Marketing Inc. have expressed their desire and obtain
loan form METRO ORMOC COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE;

WHEREAS, that METRO ORMOC COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE also has expressed its
willingness to grant loan to the said employees of Des Marketing Incorporated;

WHEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved, through the motion of JOSEPH R.

TAMPADONG II, unanimously approved by the body, requesting the Office of the Branch
Manager of Des Marketing Inc. Catbalogan City , to deduct from the gross monthly salary every
15th and 30th of the month of the employee/s of Des Marketing Inc. who has/have obtained loan
from Metro Ormoc Community Cooperative and issue a corresponding cash to the latter for
each payroll day as payment of the said loan based on the schedule of payment agreed by the
said parties;
WHEREFORE, be it resolved as it is finally resolved, that the Office of the Branch Manager
of Des Marketing Inc. Catbalogan City, Metro Ormoc Community Cooperative and all
employees of Des Marketing are furnished with the copy of this resolution.
