and speaking much more specific, and a whole lot more interesting. Words like
small, blue, and sharp are descriptive, and they are all examples of adjectives.

Because adjectives are used to identify or quantify individual people and unique
things, they are usually positioned before the noun or pronoun that they
modify. Some sentences contain multiple adjectives.Example: Honest, Funny,
Patient, Nice, Polite, Generous.

What are frequency adverbs?

Adverbs of frequency go after "be": He's always late. Expressions of

frequency (every day, twice a week, once a month etc.) usually go at the end
of a sentence: ... Order the words to make sentences.

Example:

We often use the present simple with adverbs of frequency:

Never hardly ever, usually, sometimes, often always

Adverbs of frequency go before the main verb:

Example: I usually wake up at 7 am.

Adverbs of frequency go after “be”

Example: He´s always late.

one's leisure time. Hobbies can include collecting themed items and objects,
engaging in creative and artistic pursuits, playing sports, or pursuing other
amusements.

What is the main idea? When you are listening.

The main idea is the point of the paragraph. It is the most

important thought about the topic.

To figure out the main idea, ask yourself this question: What is being said
about the person, thing, ¿or idea (the topic)? The author can locate the main
idea in different places within a paragraph.

Example: Its important to understand the main idea when someone is

speaking-

-Think about who is speaking and what he/she is talking about.

-Don´t worry if you don´t understand all the words.
-Remember that speakers often talk about the main ideas more than
once.

What are contractions?

A contraction is an abbreviated version of a word or words.

Example:
There are two main kinds:

Those formed by replacing missing letter(s) with an apostrophe.

(These contractions are formed either by shortening a word or merging two
words into one.)
For example:
• don't
• can't
• shouldn't
• he's
