AFFIDAVIT

I, Nur-Shaima L. Hiyang, Filipino citizen, of legal age, single, and a resident of Purok 7,
Recodo, Zamboanga City, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby
depose and state:

1. That since 2007, I have been a resident of Bill’s Boarding House at Purok 7, Barangay
Recodo;
2. That the victim has been boarding the room beside mine since 2008;
3. That I know both the victim, MUKZSAJAR ANDAMI Y SALIH, and the accused,
MARGANI SAMLA Y ABDURAHIM, because the latter is a good friend of the former
and usually comes for a visit at the boarding house;
4. That on several occasions, I had come with them to eat at the Bong’s carinderia near our
boarding house and talk with them;
5. That on February 28, 2019, at 9:10AM, I was in my room in the said boarding house and
was about to leave to go to Sta. Cruz Market, when I heard two (2) loud voices engaged
in a heated argument coming from the victim’s room;
6. That one of the voices came from the victim, and the other one was unfamiliar;
7. That I did not hear the voice of the accused, which I am very familiar with;
8. That as it was none of my business, I went on my way and left.
