Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Douglas Johnson more known as The Rock or “La Roca” in Spanish.

During his life, Dwayne Johnson hasn't changed his look extremely. He has a tan complexion.
Sometimes, he let grow his mustache and beard or he shaves them. He has two hairstyles: one
is that he has his short dark hair and the another when he shaves his head and be bald.

His father and his grandpa were wrestlers. His mother was part of an aristocratic lineage of
Samoa, a country of Oceania. The king of Samoa awarded him with the title of Seiuli. He has
recognized his heritage through a tattoo on his arm.
He has had some changes in his career during his life.

Football career

While he was studying at school, he started to play American football. He received scholarships
and chose the University of Miami. He graduated there with a degree in criminology.
Nevertheless, some injuries finished off his career as a football player.

Professional wrestling career

In 1996, the WWE was interested in him and they sent him to the USWA, United States Wrestling
Association, to train. There, he was known as Flex Cavana.

The first time that he fought in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) was with the name Rocky
Maivia.

As time went by, he changed his name as The Rock. He fought and participated in championships
until 2004.

He has been participating in some programs of WWE as a civil, without fighting after he retired
of it.

Acting career

Johnson's success in the ring allowed him to reach popularity.

He participated as a guest actor in the television series Star Trek. His first film appearance was a
brief appearance in the film The Mummy Returns.

Johnson's first starring role in a movie was in The Scorpion King in 2002.

One of his most prominent roles is Luke Hobbs in the The Fast and the Furious franchise.

He has played the role of Hobbs in the film of fast and furious: Hobbs and Shaw that is going to
premiere soon.
