The University of Northampton is offering partially
qualified accountants a unique opportunity to
upgrade their qualifications through achieving an
academic degree.
“The programme will enable partially qualified accountants to obtain
an Honours degree by completing 120 credits of Level 6 study that
extends their professional studies with coverage of analytical skills,
problem solving, critical thinking and social responsibility in a professional
accounting context”.

Course Highlights
Examine emerging contemporary issues in accounting and finance such as
corporate governance, environmental accounting, and Economic, Social and
Governance (ESG) reporting and their impact on business sustainability
Explore existing research methods skills with the aim of designing an
academic project
The programme consists of 120 credits;
Contemporary Issues in Accounting (30 credits), Research Methods (30 credits)
and Professional Accounting Dissertation (60 credits).

Applicants can choose between September or January start date for full
flexibility. Our BSc Professional Accounting Top-up evolved out of a strong
partnership with ICAP. Our BSc offers direct entry to ICAP existing members
with qualifications up to the professional (CAF 1-9 or equivalent), through
obtaining an academic bachelor degree.
