Apprenticeship rules- 11th (3)–Payment of stipend to apprentices: -

The stipend for a particular month shall be paid by the tenth day of the following month.

Is an apprentice entitled to leave?


Yes, as may be prescribed and to such holidays as are observed in the establishment in which he
is undergoing training

No, unless it is mentioned in the contract

Can be suggested to the contractor but the contractor is not obliged to take the employee

length- don’t mandate but can suggest to the contractor informally

The employer is not liable. But the employer can pay the contractor this money and can
make sure that the contractor does the payments by asking for challan or a note made for
the payment
