INTRODUCTION

In this evidence, we will destroy in the English language the importance of international physical
distribution and the most used logistics corridors in Colombia for exports.

The International Physical Distribution being the set of operations necessary to move the load from a point
of origin to a point of destination.

1.1 WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION

The Physical Distribution aims to discover the most satisfactory solution to bring the right amount of
product from its origin to the right place, in the necessary time and at the minimum possible cost,
compatible with the required service strategy. After a whole series of serious setbacks due to a poor
command of transport and its related operations, the need was felt to study the means leading to better
security: The DFI was born

The Physical Distribution aims to discover the most satisfactory solution to bring the right amount of
product from its origin to the right place, in the necessary time and at the minimum possible cost,
compatible with the required service strategy. The Physical Distribution system deals with everything
related to the movement of the product from the producer to the end user, including the stages
corresponding to regional or terminal deposits and / or indirect channels used.

1.2 FUCTION

It is to keep the balance that must exist between the contractual terms and their compliance according to
the distribution channels, prices, times and operational management, and their medium-term projection
in accordance with business policy.

1.3 THE FIELD OF THE DFI:

The DFI extends over a very wide field, and not only on transport itself.
Before transport, you have to make options on the form of transport, on its technology And on the
itinerary.

Scope of Physical Distribution:

The Physical Distribution system refers to the part of the supply system concerning the movement of the
product from the seller to the customer or consumer, and includes:

 Transportation, including local distribution.

2. CONCLUCION
In order for a company to expand and open up more opportunities in the market, it must consider the
investment of time, effort and capital in its strategies of what is known as “Logistics”. Logistics
encompasses all business processes and its function focuses on the quality of service and the satisfaction
of the end customer; Also, through proper management of this, it is possible to reduce product costs for
the benefit of consumers, and production costs for the benefit of the company.

The impact of the Logistics Department's activities within the companies is visible in the degree of
customer satisfaction, as well as in the fluidity of the internal processes of monitoring, production and
transportation; If the correct efforts are being made in these, it will be reflected in the cost reduction.
