What is a course outline and where do I find

it?
The course outline is a document containing key information about
your course.

It contains important information such as course description, course


schedule, learning outcomes, learning/assessment tasks, due dates
for assessments, assessment criteria, assessment submission
procedures, prescribed texts and recommended readings, grades of
assessment and your responsibilities as a student.
Blackboard

You will find the current approved version of the Course Outline for
courses you are enrolled in on Blackboard after they are posted by the
Course Coordinator approximately two weeks prior to the
commencement of the semester.

1. Log in to Blackboard
2. Select your course under 'My Courses'
3. Select 'Course Outline'
4. Open your course outline (PDF document)
5. The first page will show your faculty and course coordinator
details

There are a number of ways to navigate to the course information on


the USC Website:

 From the USC home page, type the course code, eg


COR109, into the search function and select from the
