Pola Chrochet Beanie Hat Model Domba
Pola Chrochet Beanie Hat Model Domba
The sweet little baby that is growing in my tummy got me thinking of all the cute hats
I need be making in preparation for his/her arrival. I loved the idea of making a lamb
hat and I had to make a boy version and a girl version since we don’t know the
gender yet. There are lots of different yarns you could use to create different effects
and you can even add some felt accents to create a lamb face. I can’t wait to see
what you come up with! Be sure to post your finished hat on my Facebook page for
all to see
Materials:
– Worsted Weight Yarn (weight category 4) – I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Silver
Gray and Beige for the gray hat. You can buy this yarn HERE.
OR
– Bulky Weight Yarn (weight category 6 ) – I used Loops & Threads Country Loom Baby
yarn in White for the white hat and accented it with Vanna’s Choice yarn in pink for the ears.
I purchased the bulky white yarn at Michaels.
– Size J (6.00mm) crochet hook
– Tapestry needle

Here is what the back of the ears look like once they are sewn onto the hat:
Feel free to add your own embellishments. I went ahead and added a felt face to my hat! I
cut out the face, eyes and nose from felt, added two black buttons for the eyes and stitched
everything together and then onto the front of the hat with matching yarn and a tapestry
needle.
