Conclusion

From the experiment Ammoniacal Nitrogen (AN) the objective are to determine the
amount of AN in wastewater sample and to compare it with to compare the results obtained
from the experiments with the standard from Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia.
From the experiment the data obtained are river 0.31 mg/l and pond are 0.55 mg/l.From this
we can see that the ammoniacal nitrogen in pond are higher. The standard from DOE are 5 so
from this we can see that the reading are below standard and it is low in ammoniacal
nitrogen.

If the ammonia level is excess the standard limit it will may harm the aquatic life in
the area.Excess ammonia may accumulate in the organism and cause alteration of metabolism
or increase in body ph.So from this experiment we can conclude that the water is save and not
polluted.
