Admissions into Master of Public Health (M.P.H) Course
through Computer based (online) Entrance Test for the year 2016-17

Application forms through online are hereby invited from the eligible candidates for
admission into Master of Public Health (M.P.H) course through Computer based online Entrance
Test for the year 2016-17 for the seats in Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad affiliated to
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal.

1 The candidate desires to appear for Online Entrance Test for admission into Master of Public
Health Course can apply through online on the Website www.knruhs.in from 26.09.2016 to
05.10.2016 upto 5.00 PM only. The online application can be filled through any computer with
internet connection (home/internet café/net center).
2 For other details read the Prospectus carefully. The Prospectus of the course, Instructions for
filling online Application and Sample of filled-in Application are also available on the University
Website www.knruhs.in
3.Eligibility for Admission into Master of Public Health (M.P.H) Course
S.No Eligibility Status
a) Age: There is no age restriction for admission into MPH Course.
b) Sex Both women and men candidates are eligible to apply for the Master of
Public Health course.
c) Educational The candidate should have passed :
Qualification a) Bachelor Degree with at least 50% in any discipline from recognized
University by the University Grants Commission and the Degree
awarding University must be member if Association of Indian
Universities. If the Degree is acquired from Distance Education Mode
it must be recognized by Distance Education council (DEC) besides
recognized by UGC and AIU
b) The percentage will be calculated from the total marks of 1st, 2nd &
3rd year under 10+2+3 scheme including languages and other
subjects.
c) Foreign candidates other than Medical / Para Medical applying for
MPH course should submit equivalence certificate from Council of
Higher Education, Telangana / Council of Higher Education, Andhra
Pradesh, Association of Indian Universities New Delhi, Ministry of
External affairs Government of India, New Delhi(they must fulfill
requirements of Presidential order and GOP No. 646 dated 10th July,
1979
d) Foreign candidates of Medical / Para Medical applying for MPH
course should submit equivalence certificate by the University of
Health Sciences and temporary registration for the duration of Post
Graduate training from the respective Councils i.e., MCI, DCI, CCIM,
CCH,INC etc., should submit.
d) Entrance Test Must have secured not less than 40% marks in the Entrance Test. In case of
SC and ST candidates, minimum marks shall be not less than 30% marks.
e) Physical fitness The candidate shall be medically fit.

4 The candidates are advised to download and read the (1) Prospectus of the course (2)
Instructions for filling online Application (3) Sample of filled-in Application available in the
website before filling the online Application.
5 Registration Fee For Master of Public Health Course
The Registration fee is Rs.3,000/- + Bank charges, (Rs.2,700/- + Bank charges for SC/ST
candidates) to be paid through online.
6 Verification Fee:- In addition to the above, the candidates who studied degree outside the
state of Telangana are required to pay Rs.3,000/-, and Rs. 7,000/- for Out of Country towards
Degree Verification fee.

7 Procedure for Submission of filled-in online Application form:-The candidate should submit the
print-out of the filled-in online application form along with the copies of required certificates attested
by Gazetted officer either by post or in person on or before 09.10.2016 by 5.00 PM to:

The candidate should clearly superscribe on the cover containing online application form as
“Application for M.P.H ET-2016”
Note: 1. Application forms received without copies of the required Certificates, Scanned Photo,
pass port size photo with attestation of Gazetted officer, without signature at declaration
area incomplete applications, applications received after last date and time and
applications of ineligible candidates will stand automatically rejected.
2. The University holds no responsibility for Postal delays / Loss in Transit.
9 Entrance Test Center:
Online Test Centre will be at one centre at Hyderabad. The Hall Ticket will contain date, time
and the Name of the allotted Test center.
10 Downloading of Hall Tickets:
The candidates shall download the Hall-tickets for Master of Public Health Online Entrance
Test from 10.00 AM onwards on 13.10.2016 from the website: www.knruhs.in
11 Date and Time of Online Entrance Test:
The Computer based Online Entrance Test for admission into Master of Public Health
Course will be held on 18.10.2016 from 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM. Candidate has to report
at 09.00 AM sharp at the respective Entrance Test centre.

NOTE:- The Orders issued from time to time by Government with regard to Admissions shall apply.

1. Attested copy S.S.C Marks Memo

2. Attested copy Intermediate Marks Memo
3. Attested copy First to Final Year Marks Memos of Degree course
4. Attested copy of Provisional Certificate or copy of Original Degree
5. Attested copies of Study / Bonafide Certificates from 9th class to Degree course
6. Attested copy of Transfer Certificate of Degree course
7. Attested copy of Caste Certificate (Social States)
8. Attested copy Council Registration if applicable .
9. Attested copy 10 years residence proof (See Rule 4.9 of Prospectus)
10. Service Certificate if applicable.

Note: Candidates are permitted to exercise options for admission into courses is subject to
verification of original certificates including Category, Area and Degree certificates and
fulfillment of other conditions.
