YATRA ITINERARY (10N 11D from Lucknow )

Day 1: Lucknow Arrival Arrive at Lucknow, & reach Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Deluxe
Hotel. (Hotel Check-in after 1:00 pm, dinner included) (Meal : D)

Day 2: Lucknow to Neaplgunj. After breakfast we will drive around 4-5 hrs in AC coach
for Nepalgunj. Yatra briefing in evening. Overnight at Nepalgunj in Hotel Siddhartha / Cygnet or
similar. (Meal : B, L, D)

Day 3: Nepalgunj – Simikot- Hilsa - Purang Early Morning drives to Airport and catch flight for
Simikot, rest for few hour at Simikot and then fly to Hilsa by Helicopter, wait for other group
traveller and then drive to Purang. Overnight stay at Hotel Purang or similar. Its 40-50 minutes
flight from Nepalganj to Simikot & then 10-20 minutes helicopter flight from Simikot to Hilsa.

In some cases, we stay at Simikot in guest house for 3 night & then move for Purang on 4th Day.

Day 4: Acclimatization at Purang. Entire day free for acclimatization and short trek may be

Purang is small & very clean town with lots of shops at both sides of road for shopping necessary
items for further Yatra. You can buy trekking sticks, water gallon for keeping Holy Mansarovar
Water, some packed juices & other things. Some bargaining happens here at almost all shops. Its
pleasant experience to roam around at Purang.

Day 5: Purang to Mansarovar Lake Drive roughly 2 hours in AC Volvo category bus to
Mansarovar Lake and then Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake. Complete Holy Lake Parikrama of
approx. 105 KMs, take holy bath and perform Puja at divine Lake Mansarovar. While coming to
Mansarovar Lake you will see first day of Kailash today. Its overwhelming experience to see
Divine Mount Kailash, just next to Holy Lake Mansarovar while taking bath. Overnight stay
at Guest House near Lake Mansarovar. If weather permits, You can visit to Lake Mansarovar in
night or early morning (Brahm Muhurt) too to witness the divinity of the place. (Meal : B, L, D)

Day 6: Mansarovar to Darchen. After short drive from Lake Mansarovar you will reach to
Darchen which is base for Kailash Parikrama & Ashtapad darshan. Will visit Asthapad if get
permission by Chinese authorities. (Meal : B, L, D)

Day 7: First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash. Early in morning after breakfast we will
drive to Yamdwar and then trek to Dirapuk ( 10 KMS first day Parikrama). You get blessed with
darshan of North Face of Mount Kailash during first day of Parikrama which is considered to be
most auspicious. Those who are not doing Parikrama will travel from Yamdwar to Darchen for
approx. 30 minutes and stay there in Guest House for 2 nights. You can see & pray to Mount
Kailash from Darchen. (Meal : B, L, D)

**Parikrama is optional. There are few who would be doing Parikrama by walk, few by horse &
few old age people may not be doing Parikrama. Those who are not doing Parikrama will return
from Yam Dwar to Guest House at Darchen. We will arrange meals & accommodation there. Holy
Mount Kailash is easily visible from there & one can do puja from there too. People staying at
Darchen will join other group members in 1st half once they complete 3rd day of Parikrama.

Day 8: Second Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash Early morning start trek from Dirapuk to
Dolma La Pass and then Zuthulpuk. Total trek is of 22 KMs on second day of Parikrama. This is
the most difficult part of the journey in throughout the Yatra since you have to trek up to the
18,600 ft height above sea level. From Dolma La Pass descend to Gauri Kund and further trek
along with the river to Zuthulpuk. Overnight stay – Lodge / Guest House. (Meal : B, L, D)

First 6-7 KM (till Dolma La Pass at 5600 m) of 2nd day has very steep climb & most difficult part
of Yatra. Yatris are advised to take comfortable time to cover it & take rest wherever you feel
problem. After 1st 6-7 KM, remaining 16 KMs are comparatively plain / downwards &
comfortable.
Important: Parikrama (Day 2). You will pass through Shivasthal (Sacred place for Tibetans &
believed that whatever you offer here, get it in Heaven) & Gauri Kund. After Dolma La Pass its
long pleasant trekking way beside river. You will see East face of Mount Kailash here.

Day 9: Drive to Purang Third day Parikrama is of 8 KMs & takes around 3 hours to complete.
Generally it gets completed by 9:00 to 10:00 am. After this short trek drive to Darchen and
continue drive to Purang. Overnight stay at Hotel. (Meal : B, L, D)

Day 10 : Hilsa – Neaplgunj – Lucknow Drive to Hilsa by AC luxury vehicle, fly back to Simikot by
Helicopter then to Nepalgunj by flight & then drive to Lucknow. Overnight stay at deluxe Hotel.

Day 11: Lucknow After b/f free to proceed for your home destination with blessings of Lord

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300 m) Arrive at Kathmandu airport, our representative will pick you

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing After Breakfast, Kathmandu sightseeing which covers Pashupatinath

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1950 m) After breakfast we will drive by private non AC coach to

Day 04: Drive to Kyirong (3700 m) Drive to Rasuwagadhi (1800m / 8-10 km / 45 min from Syabrubesi.

Day 05: Acclimatization at Kyiorang (3700 m) Full day is free for rest & acclimatization. Overnight stay
in Hotel.

Day 06: Drive to Dongba / Saga (4250 m) After breakfast, drive (268 KMs / 7-8 hrs.) to Dongba / Saga.
En’route we will be driving over Holy River Brahmputra. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 07: Dongba / Saga to Mansarovar Lake (4500 m) Early morning drive for Mansarovar Lake (422
KMs, 6 - 7hrs) (4500m) crossing beautiful places & complete Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by vehicle.
Overnight stay at guest house near the shore of the Holy Lake. Today you get first view of Holy Shrine Kailash.

Day 08: Lake Mansarovar to Darchen Witness the divinity of Mansarovar lake in early morning, take
holy bath in afternoon and perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Mansarovar Lake. Trip To Temples staff will provide
you private bathing tent there. After completing holy bath & then lunch there, we drive to Darchen (60 KMs
/ 1-2hrs). Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 9: First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash – Dirapuk (4800 m). After short drive from Darchen you will
reach to Yamdwar and trek to Dirapuk ( 10 KMS first day Parikrama). You get blessed with darshan of North
Face of Mount Kailash during first day of Parikrama which is considered to be most auspicious. Those who
are not doing Parikrama will travel from Yamdwar to Darchen for approx. 30 minutes and stay there in Guest

केएमवीएन भी बोलते हैं या सरकारी यात्रा बोलते हैं मैं उससे भी गया था उस यात्रा में मुझको लगभग 23 ददन लगे थे और
बहुत ही शारीररक श्रम करना पडा था। परूं तु इस बार सन 2018 मेरी है यात्रा पररक्रमा सदहत 10 ददन के लगभग बबना ककसी
शारीररक कष्ट के सूंपन्न हो गए।।*इस यात्रा में बहराइच से मेरे बडे भाई सत्येंद्र रस्तोगी के साथ साथ 9 लोग थे। जजसमें
रवव रस्तोगी,गड्
ु ड रस्तोगी,महे श सोनी,सुरेश रस्तोगी,प्रकाश मल्होत्रा, मनोज कुमार अग्रवाल,ववजय प्रकाश सोनी लोग
थे* इन सब के साथ हमारे साथ 28 लोगों का व 40 लोगों का ग्रप
ु एक साथ था सभी के साथ कोई ना कोई ररश्ता सा बन गया
हम सब ने रास्ते भर व रात में एक साथ बैठकर खब मन से भजन व कीतशन ककया और आनूंद ललया आज हम सब एक
व्हाट्सएप ग्रप

Mansarovar from 23.05.18 to 05.06.18. We are highly satisfied with
the facilities and the arrangements made by the Travel group. The
guide and all other associated people of the group were highly
cooperative and well-informed. Daily briefing was done to us and
mandatory daily medical checks were also done satisfactorily.
Everything from food to the medical facilities extended were par
excellent, with a special mention of the food which was pure Jain food
and tasted just like home food. The programme was very well
designed in all aspects. We did not face any problem in stay
arrangements except at Mansarover where we faced some problem
as the bus had got stuck on the way and reached late. Mr. Manish of
'Trip To Temple' guided us really well and was very prompt in
answering all our queries for the preparations prior to the journey.
The videography of our entire trip done exclusively for our group was
really a wonderful experience and the video was also telecast on
