Industry analysis

From the earliest days, humans have furnished their dwellings with the items they

needed to survive and over the centuries the wooden chests, storage boxes and trunks have

become the most common piece of furniture found at home. Over the time the simple storages

has evolved into different styles and uses (Scaraadm, 2016). As with every type of box or

container, artisans used whatever material was at hand for construction. Hand manufacturing of

modern pills was developed and used the storage as an art form as it was functional need; tend to

sell at much higher prices at auctions.

Gains in home organization products will stem from greater product availability and

ongoing consumer interest in utilizing home organization products to organize and store

belongings. Bins, baskets, and totes will continue to account for the largest share of home

organization product demand and will comprise 35 percent of total sales in 2019 (Freedonia

group, 2019). Everyone likes to get organized. Some are always organized; some get organized

every few minutes, some once a week or once a year (Wright, 1991). Due to commodity status of

these products, a high level of pricing pressure limits value gains and continued growth in

consumer spending for their home organization improvement.
