I. Objectives

At the end of the class the students will be able to


1 . Identify the different types of graphs.
2. Analyze the usage of each graph.
3. Create their own graph

II. subject matter: Types of graphs

Materials:

Flash card, PowerPoint presentation.

III. Procedure:

A. review
1) Can anyone name a kind of graph.
2) Write the graph names on the board.
B. Motivation
Using a pictures of different graph let them identify it.
C. Lesson proper

1. Discuss the different types of graph.


2. Show them a pictures of different graph. (bar graph, picture graph or pictograph,
circle graph or pie graph)
3. Discuss the definition of each graph and its usage.
4. Play a short video on how to make a graph.

D. Application: group activity

1.Divide the class into 4 groups. Each group will be assign to discuss the given
graph and let them identify when to use this kind of graph.

2.Every group will make their group yell. The yell must be related to the topic that the
teacher had discussed.

3.Group presentation of the assigned graph.


IV. assignment.

Collecting and interpreting data using a pie graph and bar graph.
